I used to love being the host of SideDish on WCHL (97.9 FM & 1360 AM). It was one of the hardest decisions I ever made to stop doing the show, but back in June 2013, I just knew it was time. Thank each and every one of you for letting me come into your homes and cars every Saturday and Sunday morning … and for coming up behind me in the grocery store saying “I recognize your voice,” or “I just knew that was you.”
Some of the shows are still online and someone told me just this past weekend that he had heard one of the old shows on the station.
SideDish offered an insider’s perspective into the world of food, wine and music. We talked about everything from wine to food and farm to fork with the folks who made us one of the foodiest small towns in America. We drank tequila on the air! You came along with me as I took you up-close and personal with area chefs, mixed in with local experts from farmers to food writers, and sous chefs to artisanal cheese makers. I’m grateful that you pulled up a chair each week for a heapin’ helpin’ of tasty talk.
